In this configuration you can simply install IIS on the SSAS box, as IIS/Data Pump don't really do much. And as for licensing, you only need to license the SSAS server using core-based licensing.
Licensing options for accessing cube over internet
Hi, I need to develop a couple of tabular models / cubes for a client and make them accessible to them over the internet - the plan is to use the HTTP data pump (msmdpump.dll) and basic authentication.
I'm a data engineer / SQL developer and don't have a lot of experience with server licensing side of things. In terms of the actual setup this is what I'm thinking but happy to go with whatever makes more sense and is most cost efficient.
Essentially I'm trying to understand the licensing requirements for the IIS / Webserver and the SSAS Instance that would best meet my needs.
Thanks for your help, Mark

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.
In my view, David has already given the helpful suggestion.
You may refer that to do configuration with your needs.
For more information about SQL Server license, could also refer the pdf.
