Hello. All the macro parts of my word document suddenly appear as "{ MACROBUTTON AcceptAllChangesShown }". Some captions of the figures appear as "{ STYLEREF 1 \s } - { SEQ \ * ARABIC \s1 }". It seems like macros are not properly working.

Previously, this problem didn't happen. It started after downloading and opening a new citation style file from Endnote website. I am currently using Office Home & Student 2016 version.

I already enabled 'Use all the macros' in the Options, and also tried removing and reinstalling the Office several times, but the situation is still the same. I need help!

Did you also try to select the whole text (using <Ctrl+A>) or just a fragment, then press <F9>? Or right-click the macro part, and select “Toggle Field Codes”.

    Hi @Curtis Chee

Do you use macros to enter the numbers? If so, do you have "Typing replaces selected text" checked under "Editing options" in File > Options Advanced?

Besides, please refer to Viorel's suggestion, use "Toggle Field Codes" option or press Alt + F9 to toggle fields.
