Azure Cost Management reported B2C MFA cost different from Dec 2024 to Jan 2025

We have an Entra B2C tenant , that has MFA cost is billed for Dec 2024 under the Product and Meter as shown below :

whereas for Jan 2025 , billing is changed to a new product and Meter category as shown below :

Also the cost reported in January as per the new category is 4 times the cost reported in December 2024. I have confirmed with the development and platform teams , and there are no changes in the code level as there was year end freeze.

Request help from the experts to understand why the cost is reported in different ways with in a month.

    the best option is to open a support request with Azure Support:

    Azure Billing and Subscription support is offered by Microsoft by no cost and it's for free.
