Missed Azure Administrator Associate Renewal – What Are My Options?

To whom it may concern,

I have a situation with the Azure Administrator Associate certification. One of the company members missed the renewal deadline before it expired in December 2024.

  1. Is there an option to extend the renewal period after it has expired?

I'm asking this because the Associate certification is a prerequisite for the Expert one, which the employee already holds. Retaking the exam would not provide any added value to him, but rather will prevent him from focusing on new certifications that could expand his knowledge.

Thanks in advance.
