How do you only unpin microsoft mail from the taskbar with gpo?

We have the problem that people click on the mail icon in the taksbar, but this mail app is not supported by us. but i still want that te end user can change his taskbar so that they can still customize it as they please. So not with a static taksbar like i have seen a lot (Custom Layout XML).

Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

To allow Taskbar customization via GPO, please kindly open GPO editor and navigate to User Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Task bar.

Set "Prevent users from customizing their taskbar" as Not configured or Disabled and save the change.

Once it's applied user will be able to customize the Taskbar.
