I have a Windows Server Essentials 2016 machine that is not installing cumulative updates. I have exhausted many hours trying to get Windows Update fixed to no avail. I am at the point of starting from scratch. What's the best way to approach this. Is it possible to migrate network services, AD, and shared files to a new installation of the same Windows Server Essentials 2016 OS? All the documentation I have found on Microsoft's resources are related to upgrading.

@Anonymous thanks, I have seen this resource, the only problem is that the ISO I downloaded from the MSVLC does not have a migration mode option during install. Any ideas?
