HP Paviilion WIndows 10 Virtual Machine - Issue with Enabiling Feature - Windows Virtual Machine

Hello.

I am getting this Blue screen if I enable windows feature Virtual Machine Platform on my new windows 10 machine OS Build 19042.685. Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 4500U, Laptop: HP Pavilion

Blue Screen Error after reboot: Stop Code: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

I tried multiple times enabling this feature with Windows feature as well as using PowerShell command , but same results.

Is three anything I can do to enable this feature.

Hi,
This is latest Win10 OS build version (19042.685). So it may be related to the driver or some files crash the system.
Check event log to find if any error you could find.
For this issue, you need to check to see if your PC is producing any minidump files. They provide any insight into a potential cause of the system crashes.
Open Windows File Explorer

Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump or Memorydump.

Same issue here. BSOD upon enabling vmp(virtual machine platform) and whp(windows hypervisor platform) and restarting. ryzen 4700u here.

and the default disk encryption is very annoying.

Also the same issue. BSOD when enabling virtual machine platform. Stop Code: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED. I have a brandnew HP pavilion with a Ryzen 5 4500u with radeon Graphics.

Last week, I bought a AMD CPU notebook from a small vendor (https://www.mechrevo.com/), the basic config is:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with radeon graphics

Memory: 32GB

Disk: 1TB NVME

OS: Win10 1909  Home edition

Wireless: Intel AX200 With 160MHz WIFI 6

The notebook also have the some issue.
