Hi @Trevor Budro ,
What is the type of your account?
Did you perform any actions before this problem occurred? For example, update the system or change the password.
In this case, here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:
- Clear Saved Credentials: Sometimes, old credentials can cause issues. Clear any saved credentials for Outlook:
- Go to Control Panel > Credential Manager.
- Remove any credentials related to Outlook or Microsoft Office.
- Update Outlook: Ensure your Outlook is up to date. Sometimes, updates can fix bugs related to authentication.
- Delete OST file:(If your account type is IMAP or Exchange) Click on start menu then type Run, then on the Run box type in %localappdata%\Microsoft\Outlook then press enter. It will open the Outlook folder where is stores your .OST file, you can then delete it from there.
- Create a New Profile: Creating a new Outlook profile can help:
- Open Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles.
- Click Add to create a new profile and set it up with your email account.
