Learn Sandbox login loop

Like so many others, I am stuck at a login loop at sandbox access in the Azure Fundamentals Learn module. The message on the right says forever and after every login attempt: "Sign in with your account. If your account doesn't have a registered Learn profile, this process will complete that for you."

I have attempted:

  • with both pre-existing hotmail and newly-created Outlook accounts,
  • clearing cache and attempting in incognito windows,
  • using both Chrome and Edge,
  • across multiple devices (Windows 10 and iPad),
  • running above tests after successfully logging in to portal.azure.com and attaching an authenticator on both accounts.

The left-hand pane says the sandbox is activated. Permissions were granted per the message in the left-hand pane. The right hand is continually stuck in a login loop.

What else is there to attempt? What else could I try, and what could the issue be?

    Hi John,

Please try my instructions below. They have worked for most people so far. If you have an issue please let me know in a comment.

You should be able to work around the issue by first Activating the sandbox (solving puzzles, reviewing permissions, etc.) and then once you see the sign-in box appear on the right open a new browser tab. In this new tab, browse to https://shell.azure.com. If your existing sandbox hasn't expired you can use that instead of activating a new one.

    When prompted, click Bash

Next choose No storage account required, for Subscription select Concierge Subscription, and click Apply.

After several seconds delay while a cloud shell is requested and connected to, you should see $ prompt. At this point you can complete the exercises instructions, copy/paste code from exercise tab to cloud shell tab as needed, etc.

Please click Accept Answer and upvote if the above was helpful.

    Thanks.
