I'm experiencing an issue with Performance Data Helper (PDH) counter collection in my Hyper-V cluster. Specifically, I'm having trouble collecting performance data from virtual machines and having empty results. what could be the reason / root cause of this issue.

already tried:

list all the available counters.
PDH counters are expanding and functioning properly.

system info:
Windows Server 2016 Standard

I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this issue or any best practices for collecting PDH counters in a Hyper-V environment.
