My Windows 11 Enterprise machine is crashing, with BugChecks

I stepped away from my computer, then returned a couple of minutes later, to discover that it was rebooting. Fortunately, I wasn't doing anything critical, but I am bothered by the fact that this machine, which is about 7 months old, is having some many problems. I'm wondering if it could be due to that CrowdStrike problem a few months back?

I've searched for other issues like this where I came across this, locked, post here on Microsoft Answers. I've copied the dump file and the minidump file to another place, so as not to lose them. Anyway, this has become a problem, as this machine crashes and reboots itself about once a month, which isn't acceptable.

    Hello

Thank you for posting on the Microsoft Community Forum.

Based on the description, I understand that your question is related to BSOD.

    1. Put the loading machine in safe mode, and then repeat the operation:

Start your PC in Safe Mode in Windows - Microsoft Support

    1. It might also be caused by a faulty driver, try running the Driver Verifier:

Open a command prompt window by selecting Run as administrator and type verifier to open the Driver Verifier Manager.

    1. Sometimes the problem may not be in the driver, but only in third-party applications and services. Try a clean boot:

How to perform a clean boot on Windows - Microsoft Support

    1. Update your drivers, if Driver Verifier has detected a specific one, you can update that driver and see if that fixes the problem.

Press Windows + 'R' and type devmgmt.msc to open Device Manager.

Locate the device and double-click on it to expand.

Double-click on the driver and go to the Drivers tab.

Click "Update Driver" and select "Automatic Search" for drivers.

    Have a good day.

    Best regards

    Molly

    Hello Molly,

Thank you for your response. I've got Driver Verifier running. But of the 4 responses I can check, which should I choose?

Rod: how "smooth" is the electrical power feeding your computer?

I have a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) that provides "smoothed" power -- no "spikes" -- to my computer & my monitor & my cable-modem & printer.

My employer provides everyone with a UPS, so I think this is good.
