Windows 2012R2 upgrade

Hello,

I have a personal setup of Windows 2012R2 (retail version). I would like to do in-place upgrade to latest version of Windows 2025.

I do have other licensed version of MS SW (Office 2016, Vision, Project). So, would like to keep those once the upgrade is complete.

If there is not direct upgrade from 2012R2 to 2025, will a trial version can be used (2012R2 to 2019 and 2025 paid version)?

    According to the official article Overview of Windows Server upgrades | Microsoft Learn, Windows server 2012 R2 upgrade to Windows server 2025 is supported.
