How can I add individual files (documents) to virtual Libraries folders , and not just whole folders?

Hey.

After some help please. What am I missing? Two questions of I may:-

  1. Why is it that Explorer Library folders I set up do not seem to allow me to pick up ‘individual’ documents ((Files)?

Instead it seems that I can only reference other entire ‘Folders’. (That contain say 10 of my Type A files as an example).

This then results in all 10 ‘Type A ‘ files showing in my virtual Library (Creating the muddle of loads of documents that I want to avoid)

I am after a virtual folder type principle where I can pull all key files from a my wider folder storage tree relating to (say) a project. (Not just their Folders and entire contents).

  1. Is there another way to create virtual project folders other than Libraries?

Thanks

Dan

    Hi,

Unfortunate it is not currently supported to add individual files to Windows Explorer Libraries which are designed to aggregate content from multiple folders. Libraries are built upon the legacy known folders and users interact with libraries in ways similar to how they would interact with other folders.
