Thanks for the help. Rerunning the installation worked for us too. Dumb that there is no other way to update this. Come on Microsoft. You can do better.

Indeed, this is what I have done. But this is far from what one would call "a charm". If Microsoft devs imagine that one must reinstall a program in order to switch certificates, than, it remains as most of us know them for. Further, by doing so, one must re-add all settings, extra extensions end more.
Well, this might be the definition of modern software design...
