Hello Federico .,
thank you for posting on the Microsoft Community Forums.
To verify and ensure that both Windows Server licenses are correctly installed and active, you can follow these steps:
Verify Licenses Using Command Line:
- Open Command Prompt as Administrator: Press
Win + X
and select "Command Prompt (Admin)" or "Windows PowerShell (Admin)." - Check the Current License Status:
- Type
and press Enter. This command will display the current license information and active status.
- Look for the section that indicates the number of cores licensed. It should match the core count that you have licensed with your product keys.
- Check Detailed License Information:
- To get more detailed information, type
and press Enter. This will provide a more comprehensive view of the licensing status, including the number of licensed cores.
Verify Using the Activation Wizard:
- Access Activation Settings: Go to
Settings > Update & Security > Activation
. - Ensure Both Product Keys are Added:
- If not already done, click "Change Product Key" and enter the additional product key to activate the second set of cores.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
After adding additional licenses, it may be necessary to reboot the server to ensure that all changes take effect properly.
Hope it helps.
Best regards,
Lei
