Dear Gents,

Do we have any recommendation from microsoft regarding the service which could e safely disabled or put it in manual status without affecting basic windows OS functionality for windows servers 2022?

i have searched on the internet but only found the guideline for windows server 2016 version only as mentioned in this link :https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/security/windows-services/security-guidelines-for-disabling-system-services-in-windows-server

    Hello CyberWorrior,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

I am sorry, we also don't have documentation or information about service hardening guidance on Windows Server 2022/Windows 10 21H2.

And after my research, I only find a similar thread about 2019.

Here is a similar thread about disabling system services on Windows server 2019.
