here are a few things you can try:
- Check to see if BitLocker is actually enabled on your desktop. If it's not enabled, there won't be a recovery key to find.
- Since you've recently replaced the processor in your desktop, it's possible that the hardware change has caused BitLocker to go into recovery mode. In this case, you can try using the recovery key that you have for your laptop, as it's possible that the same key was used for both devices.
- If none of the above steps work, you can try contacting Microsoft support (Global Customer Service phone numbers - Microsoft Support) for further assistance. They may be able to help you locate the recovery key for your desktop.
