Hi Harsh Sahu2,
there are a few factors can cause this error:
1.Bitlocker is not supported on the current operating system.
2.Critical system files linking to Bitlocker have been corrupted.
3.The relevant Windows service is not running.
To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:
- Run the System File Checker tool to check for and repair any corrupted system files. To do this, open Command Prompt as an administrator and type "sfc /scannow" (without quotes) and press Enter.
- Check if the BitLocker Drive Encryption service is running. To do this, open the Services app by pressing Windows key + R, typing "services.msc" (without quotes), and pressing Enter. Look for the "BitLocker Drive Encryption Service" and make sure it is running.
- Check if the BitLocker Control Panel tool is enabled. To do this, open the Group Policy Editor by pressing Windows key + R, typing "gpedit.msc" (without quotes), and pressing Enter. Navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > BitLocker Drive Encryption > Operating System Drives. Look for the "Disallow access to BitLocker Drive Encryption control panel" policy and make sure it is set to "Not Configured" or "Disabled".
Hope it helps.
Best regards,
Lei
