I have been dealing with this problem for like a month now and it's frustrating. We have a shared network printer and I want to connect to it, other Windows like 10 and older is connected without any problem, but this Windows 11 really sucks. We have a lot of new computers with a Windows 11 OS also shares the same problem. How do I fix it? Help will be much appreaciated. Thank you

    Hello,

You can try the following steps to see if this resolves the issue:

Start the Local Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc)

Go to the next section: Administrative Templates → Printers → Configure RPC Connection Settings, select "RPC over Named Pipes" from the drop-down menu, and click OK.

    Hi Zunhui,

    Thanks for your comment.
I would like to say that the resolution you provided isn't possible to configure on the server side, it only works for the endpoint workstation side.

And yes, it works perfectly if you go for a specific workstation and configure it.

The question is, why other print servers that are configured exactly the same way, doesn't need this solution when trying to install printer drivers from them?
I think implementing this group policy companywide because of an issue with a specific print server is a bit problematic.

    Any other ideas?
