Dell R630, Server 2022, and the Dell Intel X550-T2 10GbE Dual Port Converged Network Adapter Card HWWN0

Okay,

I am normally a Linux guy so here goes.

I am setting up a VMWare lab with Server 2022 running on bare metal. I have the integrated 4-port 1 GbE card and the Dell Intel X550-T2 10GbE Dual Port card.

The iDRAC sees both and the link lights for the X550 come up as I have port 2 connected to a bitEngine 10 GbE switch.

The X550 is currently plugged into Riser 2.

HOWEVER...

Server 2022 only sees the integrated card and not the X550. I had tried an X540 card and found out that Server 2022 does not support that anymore. So, I got the X550.

I have looked everywhere, downloaded multiple versions of the Intel drivers and the only thing that does is reinstall the integrated card drivers.

What gives?

Very respectfully,

James

    Hello,

Sorry, according to the problem you described, this is a third-party problem, so it is not within the support scope of Microsoft services. For example, for this driver problem, I suggest that you can contact Intel's technology vendors for better help.

If you have other questions, please contact me again.

    Best regards
