Hi Team,

We have the remote desktop server with 2 RD session host servers A and B. Server A has connection broker, session host and web access role installed, and Server B has only session host role installed. We are able to launch apps hosted from server A, but we are unable to launch apps hosted from server B with the errors "Windows cannot start the remote program. The following Remoteapp program is not in the list of authorized programs" and "Remote desktop can't connect to the computer for one of these reasons: 1, remote access to the server not enabled 2, remote computer turned off 3, remote computer not available in network". Kindly support us to resolve this issue.

    Hello,

Yes, please try allow RDP listen port (3389) on both session host servers.

    Best regards,

    Molly

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

Based on the description, I understand your question is related to unable to launch application from Rdweb.

    1. Open Settings/ System/ remote desktop, check if the remote desktop is enabled. Try disable the toggle, and reboot machine, then reenable the Remote Desktop to check the result.
    2. Open Control panel, locate Network and Internet/ Network and Sharing Center, click on the hyperlink next to Connections, select Properties, uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6), then reboot machine so that machine can disable IPv6 Protocol to switch to IPv4.
    3. Open Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Defender Firewall\Allowed apps, click change settings, in the Apps and features section, locate Remote Desktop. .Checkmark the Public and Private boxes next to Remote Desktop.
    4. Check the RDP listen port (3389) is correctly configured on both servers.
    5. Also, you can try below methods listed in the document:
