I have Windows Server 2022 Standard and have purchased a license for 5 user CALS. I need to know how to install these CALS

Purchased Windwos Server CAL 2022 Engligh 1PK DSP OEI 5 CLT USER CAL

I have activated RDS on the server itself but need to install the license for it. All that is on the package is a Tracking ID.

How do I complete this install?

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

To install the CALs on your Windows Server 2022 Standard. You need to install Remote Desktop Licensing Server Roles first.

You can follow these steps:

1. Log in to the server as an administrator.
2. Open the Server Manager and navigate to the Dashboard.
3. Click on the "Add roles and features" option.
4. Follow the prompts until you reach the "Server Selection" screen.
5. Select the server where you want to install the CALs and click "Next".
6. On the "Server Roles" screen, select "Remote Desktop Services" and click "Remote Desktop Licensing".
7. On the "Features" screen, select the features you want to install.

Then active the Licensing Server and install the CAL.You can find detail steps in below documents.
