Stuck on Windows recovery page

I put my windows to reset. Erase everything and all. It was going okay, but suddenly the laptop turned off. I turned it back on and it asked me for bitlocker recovery key. I typed in the recovery key and it went to the next screen. Then a pop up came saying that “the computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install windows, click ok to restart the computer and then restart the installation”. When I pressed okay it took me back to the bit locker recovery screen. No matter how many times I enter the key, the same thing happens. There is an option saying press esc for more recovery options. That doesn’t do anything. Nor does the option saying press f11 to choose an alternate operating system. I am extremely concerned about my laptop. It is relatively new so there is nothing in it. Please help me. I have already read this form: Stuck on bitlocker recovery key screen after trying to reset laptop and i'm on the Windows Installation page but there is no mouse and the tab button won't work. How do I get it to work?

    Hi Johan 20,

you can try the following steps to resolve this issue:

    1. Boot the computer from the Windows installation media.
    2. Select the "Repair Your Computer" option.
    3. Select "Advanced Options".
    4. Select Command Prompt.
    5. At the command prompt, type "manage-bde -unlock C: -RecoveryPassword<BitLocker recovery key>" (<BitLocker recovery key> replace with your recovery key).
    6. Enter "exit" to close the command prompt.
    7. Restart your computer and try to reinstall Windows.

    Hope it helps.

    Regards,

    Lei
