Thanks Jeff, so you are saying that UDP is blocked towards your Gateway and it is working for your Windows7/8/10 and not for W11 22h2?
Issues with Remote Desktop on Windows 11 after Update 22H2
All of our Remote Desktop Users using Windows 11 are having problems connecting to Remote Desktop after installing this update. It just hangs at connecting.
We have found that there is a bug in the Remote Desktop client so that it is only trying the UDP connection and not trying TCP connection. We only allow the port 443 connection through on our firewall.
The only workaround we have found is to make the following change on the Windows 11 computer.
Have to set this value to 1 in the registry for Windows 11 client to work outside the network
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Terminal Services\Client
KEY VALUE - fClientDisableUDP SET TO 1
Otherwise the Remote client just keeps trying to connect via UDP.
This issue did not start until the Windows 11 update was installed over the last couple days.

2022-09-27T19:00:45+00:00 It also is working for Windows 11 up until this latest update 22H2. This has occurred for about 15 computers so far at our company and many other users in the community site as well.

2022-09-27T19:13:11+00:00 Thanks Jeff, so you are intentionally blocking UDP to your Gateway and your Windows 11 22h2 devices are not working vs the Windows 10 Devices which are working fine. Can you please let me know if your Windows 10 devices have the same registry to disable UDP stack for rdp?
Or by any chance does your Gateway have UDP port Disabled for 3391 traffic? (RD Gateway Manager > Properties > Transport Settings Tab - UDP Transport Settings).

2022-09-27T19:21:38+00:00 We are no allowing UDP through intentionally. To reiterate, all Windows 11 computers that do not have the 22h2 update installed are working. No other devices (windows 7,8,10) have the registry setting set to disable UDP for rdp. They are all working with no issues the same as Windows 11 computers before the 22h2 update.
The Gateway does not have the UDP port Disabled for 3391 traffic.

2022-09-27T19:53:48+00:00 I have the same issue trying to use RDP also. If I'm trying to remote in from my Gaming PC using Windows 11 to my Mac Mini using Monterey 12.6 or from my Dell Laptop using Windows 11 via my openVPN to my Gaming Desktop I have the same issue NO remote desktop connection will go through. But if I use VNC View to my Mac Mini it works. If I use Team Viewer on any computer to any computer it works. Windows 11 is unable to establish any RDP sessions at all.
