Unable to create a VMs checkpoint in my Hyper-v

I am unable to take checkpoint for my VM.
Once we restart the server, we can take checkpoint but after one or two checkpoints we are getting below error.
After troubleshooting, I found that avhdx is not getting merge, once I tried to fix the issue our VM got crashed.
Need assistance to fix the error.
this error restricting backup solution to take backup.

    Hello,

    Based on the error information you provided, I suggest that you first try to restart the VMMS service to see if the problem can be solved. If the problem is still not solved, try to manually delete or merge the checkpoints through commands. Please refer to the following link:
