How to update integration services on hypervisor on Windows server 2012 r2

I downloaded the integration service package for Windows Server 2012 R2 from this link you sent me https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/topic/hyper-v-integration-components-update-for-windows-virtual-machines-8a74ffad-576e-d5a0-5a2f-d6fb2594f990.The version of the integration service to download is 6.3.9600.18080. However, the integration service version on virtual machines is 6.3.9600.19456. I would like to have version 6.3.9600.19456 on the hypervisor. For your information, we have an extended license for Windows Server 2012 R2.

It seems there are no available downloads for the version 6.3.9600.19456. The latest version I can find is 6.3.9600.18907.

Hi，

Unfortunatelly the download links in KB4072650 have been removed by Microsoft. I searched for KB4072650 in the Microsoft Update Catalog but found nothing. The latest downloadable version I found is KB4022720.

Hi,

I have downloaded KB4022720. When installing the update on the host server I get this message "The update does not apply for your computer". Below is the capture.

The problem we're having is that our backup fails every time. And in the logs we get the message that the version of the VM integration service is not the same as the version of the hypervisor. Below you'll find screenshots of the hypervisor version and that of a virtual machine.

Is it possible to have the same version of the hypervisor integration service on virtual machines?

According to this article below, the update KB2919355 must be installed. Can you check if you have this update installed on your machine?
