Set up a new computer for my organization, it is now requesting a password that does not match the account's

We've hired new salespeople at my company and I set up their computer. I used an organization email, everything went well, but after the computer went to sleep, it woke up requesting a password to enter the user.

Thing is, no one knows what that password is. I tried using the password to the associated organization email but it results in "Wrong password"

I attempted to instead go into the .\administrator user to bypass this and it tells me that the user has been disabled and to speak to my system manager.

We have no idea how to enter the computer now. I've attempted to enter via Safe Mode, using CMD to enable Admin, rebooted a couple times for good measure, haven't sacrificed a goat to the IT gods yet because those are surprisingly hard to come by these days.

What password is the account using if it's not the one for the email?

    Hello Alvaro Jiron,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

1.Based on "but after the computer went to sleep, it woke up requesting a password to enter the user", can you see the account before you type the password?

2.Before the computer went to sleep, what account and password did you use to sign in Windows? You can try that account and password.

3.Your machine is in organization network domain. You can sign in the problematic machine using domain Administrator and check what account has been signed in this machine.

Then you can check what account and its password.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Daisy Zhou

    Good day to you

In the end we ended up having to restore the system and redo the entire setup with a Personal account rather than organization as nothing worked.

We could see the user, and despite numerous attempts, the computer refused to accept the password associated to that account, nor any other account we attempted to sign in to. We used the same user on a separate system, and it accepted the password without issue.

Regarding point 3, we looked around for how to access it through domain administrator, but I couldn't find how to do it. While the problem has now been solved, I would love to know how to do it in case we have a repeat in the future.

    Regards

    Hello

    Greetings!

Do you mean the problem only occurs on one machine?

There is no problem on other machines with the same set up process except this one?

    Best Regards,
    Daisy Zhou
