Windows server 2016 administrator password issue

Dear Mr. Biju,

I am writing to inform you that I am facing challenges with one of our VM servers, specifically, the voice mail server. The issue I am encountering is the inability to log in with the domain user or even the local administrator accounts. The system keeps indicating an "incorrect password" error, despite the password being correct. need your assist and suggested that I could restore the password from our backup server.

I kindly request your assistance or advice in resolving this issue.

    Hello Rob Musharof,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

    1.Would you please check whether you cannot sign in using no matter any Domain Admin account or local Admin account(even though these accounts and passwords are correct)?

    2.Please check if any keys on the keyboard cannot be entered, resulting in an incorrect password.

    3.Please try to reset the password of one domain account and try to sign in using this new credential and check the result.

    4.please try to sign in using one account that signed in successfully in the past and check the result.
