I have a new ET-4856 printer and printer software is not allowing laptop with windows 11 connect to printer via Wi Fi.

Printer is connected to Wi Fi and works OK

Printer is connected to Wi-Fi and signal is good. Network report is also good and does not identify and problems connecting to Router.

Epson software installation on Laptop crashes out with 'Network Connection Failure' message.

Tried to installation from Epson CD, Epson UK, Epson.Sn (Epson Navi), Epson Europe and even Epson USA. All get stuck at the same point.

Tried to connect via WPS set up and it does not do anything.

Any help or direction would be most appreciated.

    Hello,

Based on the information you provided. Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help resolve the issue:

    1. Make sure your Windows 11 system is fully updated. Outdated system files may cause compatibility issues with the printer software. Go to Settings > Windows Update > Check for Updates.
    2. Sometimes security software may block necessary ports or processes required for installation. Temporarily disable firewall and antivirus software during the installation process, but remember to re-enable them after installation.
    3. You can try to open Settings, Network and Internet, and click Network Reset.
    4. Open cmd with administrator privileges and enter the following commands.

    netsh int ip reset

    netsh winsock reset

    ipconfig /flushdns

    ipconfig /registerdns

    ipconfig /release

    ipconfig /renew

    1. Check the event log for related error messages.

    Best regards

    Zunhui
