    When Windows asks for a BitLocker recovery key, it means that BitLocker cannot automatically unlock the drive. This can happen due to hardware changes, firmware updates, or other security concerns. If you lost your recovery key, please follow the steps in Find your BitLocker recovery key - Microsoft Support to recover it.

    **Important:**Microsoft Support is unable to provide, or recreate, a lost BitLocker recovery key.
