"I have a laptop that I haven't used for a long time. I turned it on yesterday, once. Then, after shutting it down, the next day, I found that all the drives on the computer were encrypted by Bitlocker. I discovered this problem only after entering the PE OS system. Currently, I am unable to access the system. The system is in a blind screen state at startup."

manage-bde -status

manage-bde -unlock C: -RecoveryPassword YOUR_RECOVERY_KEY

manage-bde -off C:

I have tried these commands, but none can solve the problem.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

Based on the description, I understand your question is related to unlock Bitlocker key.

    Try this command:

    manage-bde -unlock c: -recoverypassword <recovery password>

Generally, we can refer to the following path to check the BitLocker recovery key: Finding your BitLocker recovery key in Windows - Microsoft Support

If you are unable to locate a correct required BitLocker recovery key, I am afraid we will have to rebuild the machine.

    Best regards,

    Molly
