Hello Asemahle Sibabalwe Ndede,
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.
Let's try a few steps to see if we can get your laptop back up and running.
1.Hard Restart:
Hold down the power button for about 10 seconds or until your laptop shuts off entirely.
Wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.
2.Boot into Safe Mode:
Restart your laptop and as it starts to boot, press the F8 key (or Shift + F8 if F8 alone doesn't work) repeatedly until the boot menu appears.
Select "Safe Mode" and see if it boots up.
3.System Restore:
If you can boot into Safe Mode, go to Control Panel > Recovery > Open System Restore.
Follow the prompts to restore your system to an earlier point when it was working correctly.
4.Use Command Prompt:
Boot from a Windows installation disk or a bootable USB.
Select "Repair your computer" > "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced options" > "Command Prompt."
In the Command Prompt window, type the following commands one by one and press Enter after each:
bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /scanos
bootrec /rebuildbcd
5.Reset Your PC:
Boot from a Windows installation disk or a bootable USB.
Select "Repair your computer" > "Troubleshoot" > "Reset this PC."
You may choose to keep your files or remove everything.
6.Check for Hardware Issues:
Sometimes, automatic repair loops can be caused by hardware failures. If possible, check your hard drive and RAM for issues.
Note: Please ensure you have backed up all the important data on the laptop if you have.
I hope the information above is helpful.
If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.
Best Regards,
Daisy Zhou
