Windows reactivation on 2019 datacenter server.

We (the FAA) have a windows 2019 datacenter server which was installed and activated. Dell came out and reinstalled using an eval copy. Now I'm unable to reactivate. Please assist. I've tried using our CD keay again but it won't activate

    Hi @Marc Hodgdon

    Evaluation versions cannot be activated with legal product keys. You need to convert evaluation versions and editions of Windows Server to retail versions and editions.

    About the convert procedure, please refer to Upgrade and conversion options for Windows Server | Microsoft Learn.

    After conversion completed, you should purchase a new product key which is a 25-character code to activate.
