Hello, Good Morning

I have a Windows Server 2022 Data Center and I have the next error in Event Viewer:

Setting up Web Service counters failed, please make sure your Web Service counters are registered correctly.

  • <Event xmlns="**http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event**">

  • <EventData> <Binary>02000780</Binary></EventData> </Event>

I had tried different methods, but I had not resolved the error.

    Hello

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community forum.

To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt.
    2. Type "lodctr /r" and press Enter. This command will rebuild the performance counter library values based on the current registry settings and the installed services on the computer.
    3. Restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, check if the error message still appears in Event Viewer. If the error persists, you can try reinstalling the Web Service counters.

    Best Regards,

    Zack Lu
