can not activate windows server 2022

Hello,

I have installed Windows Server 2022 standard eval edition, got site license from our IT department, when I try to activate, always get 0x80070032 error.

Anything I missed here?

Hi Lei,

Thanks for responding. Steps 1-4 before posting, did not work.

My coworker helped to convert windows server eval version to full version then activated license.

here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

1. Check your internet connection: Ensure that your server is connected to the internet and that there are no connectivity issues.
2. Verify the product key: Make sure that you have entered the correct product key. You can verify the product key by contacting your IT department.
3. Restart the activation process: Try restarting the activation process by clicking on the "Activate" button again.
4. Use the command prompt: Open the command prompt as an administrator and run the following command: slmgr.vbs /ato

This will attempt to activate the license again.

If none of these steps work, please try a phone activation. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Open the Command Prompt as an administrator.
2. Type "slui 4" (without quotes) and press Enter.
3. Select your country or region from the list and click Next.
4. Call the telephone number provided and follow the instructions.
