I used View -> Zoom Level -> 25% on my Hyper-V VM window to move it away into a corner, but now I can't restore it as the View menu is no longer displayed. How do I reset it to auto or 100%?

Find the ZoomLevel value in this file and change it to 100:

    %UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Hyper-V\Client\1.0\vmconnect.config

I got it but it is ugly and error prone:

I stop the VM, for some reason this expands the window again big enough that the View menu item is visible. Unfortunately, that does not have a Zoom Level.

So I restarted the VM, and the in the 3 seconds I had before the window resized away the View menu item I was able to quickly select View -> Zoom Level -> Auto.

Definitely, would like to know how to fix this properly: for now, not going to touch the Zoom Level again.

Try stoping the VM then click on start (inside the stoped VM) and go faster to the menu View -> Zoom level and change the zoom level when it will available.

does not work yet because the VM captures the mouse and keyboard, so the control++ goes to the Fedora VM which promptly ignores it.

So how do I direct the CTRL + '+' to the window?
