Windows 11 refuses to boot after fTPM reset.

I performed a bios update and accident wiped the fTPM on my system in the process. Now windows refuses to boot or even be detected as a Bootable drive entirely, it's still working and is even readable, but I cannot preforme a reinstall of the drive without wipping it and cannot get it to boot. Please. I had lots of valuable and irreplaceable data on my drive.

Obviously Bitlocker has a hand in this but I don't ever remember setting up, seeing anything about or even messing with it up until now.

    Hello Johnbowen9,

thank you for posting on the Microsoft Community Forums.

If you need to find your BitLocker recovery key, please follow the steps in Find your BitLocker recovery key - Microsoft Support.

**Important:**Microsoft Support is unable to provide, or recreate, a lost BitLocker recovery key. If you can’t find the BitLocker recovery key and are unable to undo any changes that caused it to be needed, you’ll have to reset your device using one of the Windows recovery options.

    Best regards,

    Lei

Okay, i know getting the os back is a long shot, is data recovery an option?because as I stated *I never setup bitlocker* and have no recovery key, and even if I did nothing has gotten me back into os itself, the drive/os Is unbootable and no repairs have worked. Is it an option to try and get the files de-encrypted on another desktop and then get my lost files back.

BitLocker relies on the system's hardware and boot configuration to ensure the integrity of the system, BIOS updates can change the boot configuration of the system, and BitLocker detects these changes and deems them likely to be unauthorized tampering, triggering protection mechanisms. Without the BitLocker recovery key, the chances of accessing to the system is very slim. In your case, you may need to contact Microsoft support team (Global Customer Service phone numbers - Microsoft Support) for help. They might can provide you additional solutions.

You don't understand how many calls I've already made to them, and all that answers is a bot that immediately redirects me to the web site. Also none of my bios settings changed over the update it was specifically my TPM device, which was Asus or AMDs firmware based TPM, running off the same cpu as I have now.
