I think a .net 4.8 update has become corrupt as after a reboot of my windows server 2016 i am now seeing this error

Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll

lost of services are now failing to load including DHCP, Print server etc.

I have tried to re-install .net 4.8 however it fails to install.
