How to fix phone number verification error, tried using multiple numbers and multiple accounts. It is just not working and prompting me to try again with a different account/number

If you are facing difficulties with phone number verification and have already attempted multiple numbers and accounts, please consider the following solutions.
- Ensure the phone number is entered correctly, including the country code, without spaces or special characters. Verify that you are using a valid number and that the format is appropriate for the country you are registering in.
- Sometimes cached data can interfere with the verification process. Clear your browser or app cache and cookies or try using a different browser or device.
- There might be an issue with your browser, try using the Edge in private browsing window (In Microsoft Edge, select the Settings and More icon, and then New InPrivate window) and attempt the process again.
- If you are using a Voice-over-IP (VoIP) number, switch to a standard mobile number, as VoIP numbers are not supported for verification.
- If you have made multiple attempts in a short period, Microsoft may limit further verification attempts wait for a few hours or even a day before trying again.
- If the phone verification continues to fail, consider using other authentication methods like the Microsoft Authenticator app or verification codes if available.
