My recvery code is working but can´t reset password

Question

My phone had a short on its mainboard and died, I have access to my account on my desktop, but I do not have a way to recover my password, the steps I'm following are:

1. Download authenticator
2. Sign with my email
3. When asked for authenticator I say I don't have access to it
4. It says I can receive a code to my alternate email
5. I follow the steps and fill the blank email
6. I get the code sent to my other email
7. I use that code, it says fill a 25 letter recovery code that I don't have
8. then it says to set a new password and confirm it.
9. After that I get a timed out message every time.

I don't know how to fix this pls help.
