BitLocker Key not activated.. rabbit hole trying to activate

Hello,

I cannot seem to just simply activate my BitLocker Recovery key to my pc... Various online methods to activate or just find my BitLocker recovery, such as, I have tried running a line on my command prompt only to be told my bitlocker key is just not activated. How can I get this recovery key number in the event that my pc gets wiped out due to a weather storm or whatever (which has already happened).? Every method online shoots me down a rabbit hole and I am beyond discouraged.

Hello,

According to your description, for some reason BitLocker encryption is corrupted. The only solution in this case is to reinstall the system or you can try to enter safe mode to restore the point in time.

Don't reinstall.

Quote the output from an elevated command prompt when you launch:

manage-bde -status c:

-> Possibly "not activated" should tell you that your protection is not yet activated and that could be because no protectors are set up (so the drive is encrypted but unarmed, no authentication is needed to overcome it).
