What happened to my PC? How can I deduct it next time?

Hi, I was playing Minecraft just today when my game completely froze, so I shut the pc down, not giving it much thought. When I came back to the pc, maybe 3 hours or more later, and opened it, my screen was shrunken down its original size, my ea account says it doesn’t recognize my account, and everything ran really slowly. After a while of configuration, only the video games seemed to run slow, everything else was better(like Microsoft Edge), and my sound was disconnected. I did a quick scan in Microsoft Defender, and it said I was fine, but I’m not very sure. Could I get help on how or what happened and how to fix it all and how to prevent these things from happening in the future?

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A.

Based on the description, I understand your question is related to pc freeze/ slow.

Try check if press "Ctrl+Alt+Del" together when the machine hangs. If press "Ctrl+Alt+Del" together can open task manager, check which process is unresponsive and end that task.

Hard drive, RAM, video card, or another hardware can also cause a computer to lock up. Try update drivers, check if there is driver confliction, and uninstall 3rd party anti-virus software.

If EA account continue to have issue, contacting EA support might be necessary to resolve account recognition problems.

Also, go to Minecraft website to check if there is an update, and check the system and hardware requirements of running this game.

    Have a nice day.

    Best Regards,

    Molly
