Message:

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue while trying to sign up for the free Azure account. I received a message saying "You're not eligible for a free Azure account." However, my payment card is valid and up-to-date.

Could you please provide clarification on why this is happening? Also, I would prefer to receive a response via email rather

    Hello Mikku,

    Thanks for your question

For this error these are the possible reasons:

    • The information that you provided for your Azure account profile (including contact email address, street address, and telephone number) is correct.
    • The credit card information is correct. (You confirmed this.)
    • You don't already have a Microsoft account that uses the same information.

    See: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/troubleshoot-subscription/troubleshoot-azure-sign-up#you-see-the-message-you-are-not-eligible-for-an-azure-subscription

You can mark it 'Accept Answer' and 'Upvote' if this helped you

(Please note: If you have Priority Community support please wait for a dedicated Microsoft support representative to assist you, as they have access to the necessary backend resources. If you have not yet opened a support case, we recommend reaching out through the support channel available under your subscription level.)

    Abiola
