SSMS Object Explorer Details context menu scarcely populating

In SSMS object explorer details, when I view object explorer details and click on the headers row, the context menu shows only name and Policy Health status. Most of my tables only have a couple of columns (I'm only just starting on SQL), but said context menu behaves no differently when I have selected, in the GUI, a table that has about six columns.

If I select tables in the System node and then view object explorer details, I find the context menu gives many more options (albeit not as many as I saw in a tutorial video).

I have tried repairing and reinstalling SSMS. I am the owner and admin so should have all permissions (and believe I do). For good measure I visited properties for the Database and clicked every box in the grant column.

Seems there must be some setting I'm missing. I'd be grateful for any pointers.

Exactly what columns that are available depends on where you are. If you go up one level, you should see a lot more:

But when I click a table to see the folders Columns, Keys etc, I only have Name and Policy Health State. The other columns above are not applicable on this level.
