HOW TO SIGN INTO AZURE FREE TIER AFTER AN ERROR OF SOMETHING WENT WRONG BUT WE ARE WORKING ON IT, TRY AGAIN LATER.

I'M NEW TO AZURE, TRYING TO SIGN INTO THE FREE TIER PORTAL WITH MY NIGERIAN UNITED BANK FOR AFRICA PLC MASTER DEBIT AND CREDIT CARD SAVING ACCOUNT, AFTER CLICKING START, AND FILLING IN MY CARD BILLING DETAILS, I GOT A RESPONSE OF "SOMETHING WENT WRONG, WE ARE WORKING ON IT, TRY AGAIN LATER".

I TRIED A DIFFERENT MASTER DEBIT AND CREDIT CARD WITH ZENITH BANK PLC CORPORATE ACCOUNT, ALSO IN NIGERIA AND GOT A RESPONSE OF "NOT ELIGIBLE FOR A FREE TIER ACCOUNT, TRY A PAYG.

PLEASE, I NEED AN URGENT ASSISTANCE ON THIS AS I'M RUNNING VERY LATE IN MY PROJECTS SUBMISSION WHICH WAS BILLED TO BE SUBMITTED LAST WEEK, AS ALL EFFORTS TO GET THIS RESOLVED AS PROVED ABORTIVE AND REALLY DISCOURAGING, WHICH I WON'T EVER ALLOW TO WIN ME.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE,

ENGR. OGBEWE O. BRIGHT.

    Hi ENGR. BRIGHT,

You are facing difficulties while trying to sign up for Azure's Free Tier, especially when you are on a tight deadline for your project submission. Follow below steps to resolve your issue.

Sometimes, the "Something went wrong, we are working on it, try again later" message can be due to a temporary technical glitch on Azure's end, please wait a short while and try again. Often, these glitches are resolved quickly by Microsoft's technical team and in mean time clear your browsers cache or try a different browser to see if that helps.

For payment method eligibility, "Not eligible for a free tier account, try a PAYG" message might be due to the payment method not meeting certain criteria for the Free Tier. To resolve this issue check that your debit or credit card allows online international transactions and is not a prepaid card, as these are common requirements. If you have another card available, preferably a different type (Visa, Mastercard) or from another bank, try using that and contact your bank to ensure there are no restrictions or issues with your card.

Account region restrictions can sometimes cause issues if there is a mismatch between the country or region of your account and your payment method. To resolve this, ensure that the billing address and country settings in your Azure account align with the country of your payment method.
