Hello

Please i need your help on this issue.

My old, private account (the former alias is now changed to an @outlook.com email. I have logged in but there is no longer any emails or info there. I don’t know why.

A big majority of my emails are still in the “deleted” file when I have imported the .pst file in to the new business account, I don’t know why.

There is no contacts / calendar option in the .pst import file.

I have tried to specify import options, sub folders separately, did not work.

When I try to move all my email in the “deleted” file, Outlook crashes. Probably because of 13K files.

And also, previously flagged messages are not showing up anymore.

    Hi @James James

    Welcome to our forum!

What is your previous outlook.com account type? Exchange/POP/IMAP?

Does the issue occur on Outlook Desktop Client? Ensure you're logged into the correct account. Sometimes, emails might not appear if you're in a different profile or account.

To further confirm if the issue is more related to Outlook desktop client, if possible, please log in to your web mail to check if the emails still exisist.

In addition, here are some steps you may take:

    1. Emails in "Deleted" File After Import:
      • This might happen if the emails were marked as deleted in the original account. Try moving them to the "Inbox" or another folder in smaller batches to avoid crashes.
    2. No Contacts/Calendar in .pst Import:
      • Ensure that the .pst file includes contacts and calendar data. You can export the contacts/calendar as a sperate .pst file and then import it to see of the issue persists.
    3. Flagged Messages Not Showing:
      • Ensure that the flagged messages are not filtered out.
      • You can also use the Inbox Repair Tool (SCANPST.exe) to check and repair any corruption in the .pst file

    Hope it helps!
