The answer depends on how you work with your data and where it's uploaded. When you use the "Bring Your Own Data" feature in the OpenAI Service, the data is actually uploaded to Azure Blob Storage, and a vector search index is created. It is stated that OpenAI does not use this data.

For data privacy in Azure OpenAI, customer data is not used to train OpenAI models and remains private to the tenant. Uploaded data is processed within Azure’s compliance framework, adhering to GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC standards. Only authorized users within your tenant have access unless explicitly shared.
