News webpart filter function via managed properties no longer working

Microsoft has apparently made changes to the managed properties that negatively affect the news web part.

In addition to the date issue, the filtering with managed properties (boolean) is no longer working correctly for us.

Although the news pages have entered the value identically and we have not changed anything, now only a random subset of the news pages with the same filter is displayed, whereas last week it worked without any problems.

Can anyone here perhaps provide information on this subject?

Yes, we´re having the same issue since a few days.

We´ve tried several things already incl. using different types of managed properties.

For some news it is working and for some not and we do not see any differences in the news pages shown compared to the ones not.

    Hi @Adorna ,

    Good days!

Sorry to hear that you encountered such a situation.

According to my research, this is a known issue. The reasons behind it are complicated and beyond the capabilities of the forum. We suggest you directly create a support ticket from Microsoft 365 admin center as an admin. The support team over there has the correct escalation channel, they can involve more resource and investigate the behavior from back end as fast as possible. They also can check the behavior on your end remotely. For reference: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Docs.

    Hope these information helps.
