On a laptop running Windows 11 Home, version 24H2, updated on 11/3/2025, a high-security FNMT digital certificate has been installed for individual users. This certificate is configured to require a password for verification. However, after the first use, Microsoft Edge no longer prompts for the password when signing documents or accessing websites that require the certificate.

What steps can be taken to ensure that the certificate Manager/Edge consistently requests the password for the digital certificate?
