room declined occurrences not listed

Please i need your help on this issue.

A recurring meeting was created on March 18th at 10:43AM (GMT+1). The recurring meeting's range is from 27/3/25 until 27/9/25.

The frequency is every Thursday within that range from 2PM until 4PM. The organizer received an "Accepted" email from the meeting room without listing any declined occurrences during that range.

 

However, after checking the meeting room's calendar we noticed that the meeting room did not show 2 occurrences: First one on Thursday April 3rd 2025 and second one on Thursday April 17th 2025.

The organizer did NOT receive any separate emails from that meeting room regarding the declined occurrences.

 After getting the "cancelledOccurrences" property for that meeting rooms via Graph API, we noticed that those 2 aforementioned dates were indeed listed in the values of that property.

 

This problem occurs randomly and cannot be reproduced on-demand.

in general, after booking a recurring meeting, organizers may get 3 different response types from the chosen meeting room:

1. The recurring meeting has been "Accepted" through the entire range without any notes about meeting occurrence conflicts.
2. The recurring meeting has been "Accepted" but with meeting occurrence conflicts which are listed on the same email. Along with that email, the organizer also receives from the meeting room separate emails informing that the occurrence conflicts have been declined (one email per declined occurrence due to conflict).
3. The recurring meeting has been "Declined". The threshold which automatically determines when a recurring meeting will be declined, is controlled by the CalendarProcessing properties of the meeting room.

In our case, what happened was that the meeting room sent a response to the organizer for the 1_st_ case above, when it should have sent a response for the 2nd case above.

This resulted in the organizer thinking that the recurring meeting was booked through the entire range, but in reality, the meeting room had declined 2 occurrences without any notification to the organizer.
